I haven’t felt so genuinely happy for some time…

I guess I have too few genuine friends. It's very difficult for a friendship to blossom when both parties live thousands of miles apart from each other. However, I really do cherish the very few who cares about me.

I know, for certain, that someday in future, each of them will get attached and have a world of their own.

Hence, it really pains me to think of the possibility that I'll be left alone and lonely, with suicidal thoughts invading my mind subsequently.

I'm a person who can hardly survive without a partner. I'm worried that I'll become lonelier and be forgotten as I age. I've never really had a successful relationship in my entire life. I don't know what I've been doing for the past 20 years. For as long as I can remember, I've been trying to keep myself alive in a highly competitive learning environment in which everyone wants to outshine the rest.

The Clincial School is starting soon. I feel helpless and worried. The academic pressure I'd be facing, somehow, will help in numbing and anaesthetizing me to all these pessimistic thoughts. But then, the effect is not permanent. Many a time, I'm soaked in fear, not knowing where my life leads to and what the future holds for me. And the something bigger and tragic *****.. has yet to come. Aih. I really don't know how to deal with this sort of calamity that's imminent and bound to happen.

My life isn't perfect. With all the challenges and hurdles. Sometimes, I feel very discontented.
Disgruntled. Lonely. And demoralized.

But then, I always convince myself to extirpate these negative thoughts from my mind and enjoy the remnant of my university life.

The Memoirs of Myself (2009-2011)

I am not good in describing events, travelling experiences and food tasting. But the life in the Medical Phase I have left me innumerable sweet and good memories, which I think, must be written down in this forsaken diary.

Since I entered the IMU at the age of 19, I have braved through crisis after crisis lol. Had I been careless, I would have been crushed by the exams. The risk of failing has always been imminent. Oops… O.O

And now, the 2.5 years Phase I finally takes its expiry. It staggers me how rapidly time has flown.

I was having mixture of feeling as I browse the photos. Wonderful moments have always been short. And more than half of the cohort is transferring overseas, while I embrace myself into the heart of Seremban!

If you are still as childish as I, you might still remember the late Ilene Wood’s ‘A dream is a wish your heart makes’. Unfortunately, it never happened on me; got fed up when even a plain sleep got disturbed by the alarm.

Semester Five

The weekdays early morning alarm has been extremely disturbing, and I just realised that for the rest of my life, especially during the HO with our lovely government, there is no such thing as afternoon class/shift =S!!

For the entire week, I’ve been having insomnia, I used to sleep and wake up at so late, that compromising my sleep and biological time now and beyond = destroying my body and soul!

I always look forward to the time I flick the lights goodbye, when the darkness and I are one. The time when my eyes get tired and then………. my thoughts run wild! I bet I am the only guy who has the most random thoughts that never fail to linger every single night!

I wonder this is a bad habit; I see some of my friends can turn in so easily, even on a bus with bumpy ride… Maybe I need sleeping pills!!!

The Long Awaited Post

It's been so long I've never stepped into this editorial window! And now the blog is more than 2 years of age, and the writer =p is rolling into the 3rd year of Medical School!

Flipping the blog archive, recalling the reminiscences during the Pre-U, the friends, their faces, are like birds that fly high over two years that have gone on and on and on. Not forgetting the 2 years of life in IMU, but now it's passed. Only the memories remain. - Thus, aging is gonna used up my brain memory zzzzz I simply need a bigger brain capacity! without diluting the current ones =p zz

The Picture of Life, so far.

A few times in my life I've had moments of absolute clarity, when for a few brief seconds the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh. I can never make these moments last. I cling to them, but like everything, they fade. I have lived my life on these moments. They pull me back to the present, and I realize that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be.

Even my pleasure is the basis of unsatisfactoriness. Among all that is near and dear to me, there is changeability and separation. And with it hurt and love.

Looking still deeper beneath the surface of life, even a happy ending may prove to be but a sad beginning, or how a slight indiscretion has harmed myself.

It's a mistake sometimes, to look too far ahead. Having said that only one link in the chain of destiny can be handled at a time...

It's been so long that I could actually have time to continue my Journals which came into a halt two years ago. See, I always convince myself to accept the Inevitabilities I've faced. The thing(singular) that I've gained, the danger of loss is just at the brink. And that I'm pretty sure that the loss will probably unable to set a foundation for future gain.

And when the time arrives, I would certainly want to erase the disappointment, the pain and doubt.

In the end it is what I lost, that I'll be mourning for the most. The pain will stay deep down my heart, forever.

I must make the choice to either hope for a truth I won't regret or an ignorance that won't come.

But as long as I still wish for it, maybe not everything is lost.

K. I'm just too jobless not true k!, blame my biological clock which put me into sleep ONLY after 3am. tat's how the thoughts filled my mind, and the coordination of my itchy hands. Nite!

14th March

Went to Time Square with wx this morning, planned to watch Love Matters, but ended up with the stupid Watchmen! Damn bad la the movie, wasted my time and $. The hall for the Love Matters was fully occupied *geram*, what to do... We travelled all the way from Bkt. Jalil to catch a stupid movie WTF! Anyway, at least we had our lunch at Sushi King I mean 'better' food since I came here haha, mollifying ourselves lol.

20th March

Went to Sunway Pyramid with Alpha-Boomers this noon, they planned to go RedBox at first, but without the member card, we have to pay quite a lot. So they discarded this plan and off we went to the TGV. Again, it all appeared to be boring movies, yet there was an international competition at the bowling centre. So we have nowhere to go! Anyhow, we went back to TGV, watched another stupid show again! I've been donating $ to different cinemas for shit movies... OK la im lazy to type now...photos here..

Brief Update

I'm back! My apologies to those who have been visiting this blog. I've been sooo lazy to update my blog...

It has been almost a month since I came over to IMU, everything is fine here. But I dislike the way they teach, most of the time I don't even know what the professors are crapping, so as usual, I used to SLEEP to kill my boredom. We paid for so much u know, and after all, we have to teach ourselves... some ppl may like it, but to ppl like me, everything sure becomes a blur when the professors start to exercise their mouths...

The first two weeks of orientaion which includes the Wet Ice Breakers, Indoor & Outdoor Treassure Hunt, Dress Code I & II, Telematch, Variety & Finale Night etc. was fun though I don't really like it, we were being messed up! And it stunk!!! Imagine how we washed our orientation T-shirts and all that... Okay, I'm lazy to go into details, anyway, there will be no photos for this post, don't expect too much for Celcom Broadband! haha I'm lazy to upload them la in fact... will upload when I'm free or maybe not =D

Ok la I've to stop here, I know this is damn brief, what to do, I haven't taken my bath till now; so pls excuse me. Alright ladies and gentlemen, just a brief update, to show that i'm still ALIVE. My apologies and thanks to those who have been visiting this blog though there is nothing for almost one month...anyway, I'm lazy to talk abt the past.

So my holiday has officially comes to its end. Will be leaving Penang Island to KL soon...

this is the place where I will be staying, hope the contractor manages to complete the renovation before 23rd =.= I was so furious when the agent told me that the minor renovation cannot be done on the scheduled date, WTH, some of my housemates are actually flying to KL okay! ... that's why, renting the whole unit ain't a simple and easy job, we have to shoulder the heavy deposits, plus the utility fees (elec., water, indah water all that) woah.....

OK, back to the topic, so those who wish to visit me may do so hehe. OK, shd stop here, btw, i gonna miss my house internet; Celcom Wireless Broadband simply erm not that useful or efficient, loading or uploading images (especially in blogspot lol) has always been the problem in this week Ppl like me would prefer photos haha. Okie, I know this blog is dead... I've been lazy to update my blog these days, sorry to those who've been visiting my blog; but nvm... I'm reviving it now, let me just update recent activities.

Woke up very early this morning, took AirAsia earliest flight to LCC Terminal. Reached LCCT at around 9am, then we Star-shuttle-ed to Puduraya. It was so crowded, like pasaraya; after that we transited to Melaka Sentral. We should have travelled to Nilai, then Seremban and depart to Melaka Sentral from there but since I'm not familiar with these stations, I opted to transit from Puduraya, which sounds rather funny ahaha.

We arrived Melaka Sentral at around 1pm I think, and took taxi to the Kings Hotel which is approximately 6km away. Well, the taxi in Malacca are without meter. So the drivers simply 出价. Maybe because my dad was with me, so they 出高价. 6 KM cost us RM 18! OK suak liao. After we checked-in, we took taxi again to the Heritage City for lunch.

There are numerous specialist baba & nyonya restaurants in the city; we chose this restaurant for lunch. The foods were of baba & nyonya style, almost all the foods we ordered were served with rich coconut milk. The foods and the cendol were excellent, I don't think I'll be able to find these in Penang Island. I didn't take any photos of the food, since we were so hungry and didn't even think of it ahaha.

Of course the baba-nyonya food is not the only delicacies around, we wanna try the meat satay as well as the chicken ball rice, but we simply don't have time for that. Haiz....

After lunch, we toured around the Heritage City. Nothing much to see in fact...

We toured around for about 2 hours, after that, took taxi to the hotel; we could hardly get a taxi in Malacca, yet they simple potong us....

Went to the Kings & I - Fine Taste of Siam for dinner. The foods were excellent. Only two photos of the dishes, bcauz we have termakan-ed the rest before I've managed to take photos lol.

The dessert, this wasn't really taste good, just too simple that I can even prepare at home. There is another dessert, called water chesnut blabla i think , and that was nice but not mine =( ; nvm, it is available at Siam restaurant at the Crystal Point Penang Island =)

Slept before 11 PM tonight, it has been a long time I didn't sleep that early haha.

Woke up early in the next morning (Monday), went for breakfast at the hotel cafe. After that, we took taxi to the MMMC. 3.5 KM = 25 MYR *没天理*

Reached there quite early. I saw a gal there and her face was so familiar, it took me long enough to recall that she was staying at the same hotel as mine =.= Most of the interviewee were from other states and many were from Penang Mainland. Only me, LiTatt, Denise, and another gal sry i've forgotten ur name =) were from INTI Penang for this batch interview. There was an hour simple test prior to interview. Not test in fact, just asked us to write something....

Luckily I was the first five to be interviewed, LiTatt as well, so we didn't have to wait for hours. They were very efficient, they replied us soon after the interview.

The environment of the college is nice, the college compound is big. No photos lar since my hp batt. has been running low.

Went back and checked-out from the hotel to Melaka Sentral. Had lunch at McD. The Orange Dream McFlurry tasted like chemicals, wasted my $. After lunch, we transited to KL. It is the first time I took a double decker bus *sounds sampat right...*

Passed IMU on the way from KL to LCC Terminal. We reached LCCT quite early. The self-service Kiosk Check-in was very convenient especially for ppl like me who didn't purchase for the checked baggage, or else I will have to wait for a looonnng queue.

I had my dinner at the Coffee Bean, while my dad at the EON Bank Premium Lounge. Only those EON Matta/Platinum card holders are allowed to enter the executive lounge and enjoy free foods, massage, computers, TV bla bla bla....

There was a slight delay on the flight but still, we reached Penang island before 9PM. Wasted a lot of $ for this trip....That's all... & I've to make up my mind within two weeks haiz.....

This will be the last Maxim of the year 2008. I'd like to share my thoughts while I'm recapping what I've experienced this year. Let me put it in point form:

As people go through life, some learn to age gracefully and accumulate wisdom born from experience. They realise that to crave is to be subjected to more suffering, and the cure for suffering lies not in appealing to the gods for help but by finding salvation within themselves.

Some people, without considering their real positions, think that they are higher than all others. They are so full of themselves that they develop grandiose opinion of themselves. This can be dangerous because 'Pride always goes before a fall'.

I'm the result of my own deed; whatever deed I do, whether good or bad I shall become its heir.

The religion of the materialistic world today is deifying money. Everybody wants to be rich quickly, at all costs and by any means available, whether by rightful or wrongful methods. The world is so caught up with accumulating wealth that the honourable virtues of morality, honesty, and integrity seem to have lost their influence and meaning on humanity. Under the siege of materialism, humanity is rapidly losing sight of spiritual values. It is not wrong to be rich, if such gains are obtained through rightful means. Ill-gotten gains, however, will lead to problems, difficulties and a guilty conscience.

Normally, our physical body lasts less than a century at the most and undergoes changes from moment to moment. Our emotions are but a stream of feelings and images; our minds but a stream of thoughts. Our characters change with the years. Within this complex interaction of mind and body, there is no permanent substance which can be regarded as an unchanging self.

The Last Day of 2008

Many people have been waiting for good news from their universities these days, so didn't really go out much; except last Sunday went GP with my sis & mum, shopped the whole day, our expenses almost reached 1k MYR...O.O...

Time is flying...& today is the last day of 2008, then it'll be CNY!!! It’s time for a new calendar....

Since today is the new year eve, let's fill ourselves with endless optimism and pray for a fantastic year ahead!!

okie, it is a public holiday today. So basically I went QB with my mum & sis. It was crowded, and I met many friends there.

Shopped for the whole day. The car park receipt shows that we have been in the mall for 11 hours. During the 11 hours, we have spent almost 1k MYR... But that's just the beginning of our annual shopping..... When I reported our expenses to my dad, he said: 'You will settle the payment when the credit card statement arrives' LOL none of my business haha jk...

No photos for today cauz my hp battery has been running low since morning. Went Dave's Deli for lunch, Food Court for dinner. This is my first visit to the QB food court, though I have been to QB for countess times haha. So that's all for today I think, byez... 2009 is comnig soon!

I've been so lazy to update my blog, or busy..........

Anyways updates!! but just a short one since it's late now...

Well, I've reached KL this afternoon;

After I've checked in my hotel yeah it is a hotel, I purposely italic-ed it haha, we went to MidValley. Traffic jam everywhere.... Went Tony Roma's for lunch, the foods were delicious and the price was reasonable too.

Met wf after lunch; and passed her IELTS and UAI transcript to her. I thought I wont be meeting her anymore LOL. Parted with her after that. Shopped for the whole afternoon; taken our dinner at Damansara City Centre.

I stayed in the hotel for the whole night;

Woke up early in the next morning. Walked to Damansara City Centre for breakfast. I had my lunch at KFC there too.

Went to IMU after I've checked out from the hotel. The stupid taxi driver didn't even know the exact location but he claimed that he knew that place before I entered his cab *faint*. So in the end, I've to teach him using my hp GPS... kek ki ....

Many HSC friends were there when I arrived. Chatted while waiting for our turn. So, we have spent our whole afternoon in IMU. After the interview, wx & I went back to Penang Island. Took the Nice company bus, really nice la haha. Reached here quite late, went LipSin for dinner before balik rumah.

I think that's all for these two days.. BTW, I've noticed that I used to blog at late night swt....

I know it is Saturday today... & I'm finally free now(being lazy??), so let me briefly post something on this wednesday.....

Okie, early morning, many of us have been waiting for results till 2.50 AM....

Went GP in the afternoon, went to Chili's for lunch with ziyi, adeleen, wf n her bf. While adeleen was holding her hp... *splash* (not that serious la haha)

After lunch, we went for shopping while wf & her bf went to the 7th floor as usual LOL. Went back in the evening, I was very tired for the whole day....

18th Dec. 2008 - woke up at 5.50 AM, some people have got their UAI that time, I was nervous while checking haha. many did very well, now everybody has been busying with their uni. application.. ok la sleepy now, stop here.

Let me just recap what we've done today, too lazy to go into details as usual lol.

Went to the Maxim Pekaka again for breakfast with adeleen, wf & lt. Cheeyang supposed to join us but he was still a pig that time. We were in fact very sleepy as we reached home at around 1 am after the alumni night dinner...

After breakfast, adeleen fetched ph & honglee on the way to GP. Jc, osq, lq & his gf joined us at the pool & snooker centre.

Some of them went for arcade games after that. Had A&W for lunch, it has been a long time since I've parted with it haha. After lunch, we accompanied cheeyang to 肉骨茶王 for his lunch.

WeiXue & his gang went for a movie while we left GP to adeleen's house. I wanna watch The Day The Earth Stood Still but we hv no time for that. Cheeyang has balik to pack his stuff.

Cheeyang left Penang Island in the evening & WeeiFoong gonna leave Malaysia soon.....haiz. & results is coming out 0.0 Time flies doesn't it?

My apologies to all the readers out there, I was too sleepy when I was typing my previous post, so the photos were not in chronological order, and I have missed some of the points:

-Anyway, the organizing committee has done a great job. Thank you very much. Please bear in mind that nothing can be equalled to perfection, so please don't complain too much =)

-The emcee on that night were HaiSherng & PeiYing. But the volume of the speaker appears to be too low that I couldn't hear some of the lines.

-The band, maybe because the performers of the band aren't HSC alumnus, so many of us went out during their performance. Thanks to them anyway.

...It took me long enough to upload these photos haha. Some photos aren't with me, I'm just posting what I've in my hp. I'll upload the rest somewhere else when I'm free. So, almost all HSC 2008 students have attended the HSC Alumni Night 2008 tonight.

This evening, adeleen, wf, cy & I went to ph's house. All of us changed there, and the gals of course need to prepare themselves. We left Sg. Nibong at around 6.15 PM, quite late, since the dinner is starting at 7 PM.

SOSAM (HSC) Alumni Night 2008

OK it is late now, but just a brief update. All HSC 2008 students except few of them have attended the Alumni Night 2008 today at the Copthorne Hotel heard of this hotel before ?? haha. This is also my first visit to this place, not bad in fact. Will update more later or tomorrow.

Oh ya, I had accidentally galek-ed my phone screen this evening, sakit hati.... BTW, thanks Adeleen for this!

It is a public holiay today - Hari Raya Haji. This morning, on the way to visit my dad's friend, I saw many Malays wearing new clothes and many cows waiting to be slaughtered outside the mosque. The traffic around the mosque was like hell but I saw no traffic police there....

Then we planned to go Gurney for lunch. Since it was a public holiday, many cars were queuing. So we parked our car at G-hotel. Many people everywhere lar; we went to Chili's for lunch. Lazy to upload the photos, but the foods were excellent of course.

By the time I left gurney after lunch, I received a sms from my friend; they were heading to GP when I left... wrong timing....haha. So I didn't join them. I spent my whole afternoon in the car while waiting for my dad. He has to work almost daily lar......

Went to QB in the evening. After buying some stuff, we went to Swensen's for dinner. The foods were of low quality, not nice at all, yet the price not cheap too, wasted our $. After all, I'd still rank TGI Friday and Chili's as the excellent restaurants in Penang Island....Went home after that and that's all for they day.

BTW today is weiren's and khengkhai's birthday, but I didn't join them, have something to do, sry. Anyway, let's wish 2 of them Happy Birthday and all the best in their studies!

Woke up early this morning, then we went to Disted College to take the IELTS test; most of the academic paper candidates were INTI HSC-ians. Went out for lunch before proceeding to the Speaking Test.

Since there were so many candidates, we finished our entire test in the afternoon, quite late... We planned to visit wr's showhouse, but unfortunately he wasn't there when we arrived.

The exterior, not bad but they claimed that this will cost around 3mil MYR ???

Then off we went to GP amusement park for arcade games, but I've no mood for that, very tired actually hehe. Osq went to The Popular while the rest of us had ice-cream downstairs. Weiren and weixue arrived in time before the movie starts. Watched Transporter 3, not bad lar. WX, WL, WR went back after that, while Adeleen dropped osq at his house. Then 4 of us went to e-Gate The Secret Recipe for dinner.

When we exit from e-Gate, a car opposite to the Tesco Hypermarket caught fire, and every drivers including Adeleen were attempting to reverse their vehicles. Since the Tesco management allowed no cars to use the entrance path, we had to make a detour in order to reach my house.

Reached home at around 9pm, felt very tired so I'm lazy to upload the rest of photos. BTW, to me, Twilight is just OK lar, but it seems like many people like this movie sooo much, perhaps they worship Robert Pattinson??? lol ok la Stop here. Bye.

Today was the last day for the IELTS workshop, damn boring la, especially for the speaking session, we were talking among ourselves (this happen all the time I think hehe)... 100MYR per day, and 25MYR per hour just flown away...lol. These three days, osq & I tumpang Adeleen's car thankyou very much haha.

Time flies like an arrow… I’ve realised three weeks have passed without doing anything meaningful or significant.

But time really does fly when you're having fun. Or, at least, it flies when your attention is engaged. If you know in advance that you're going to have to estimate the time of a task, the more attention the task requires, the faster time flies. Ok I know I’m kap siao-ing haha; and this shall mark the end of November 2008 =)

Woke up early this morning, went to Maxim Pekaka for breakfast; then I followed Adeleen and judy to qb, just to buy some bbq stuff from jusco. Unfortunately they were checking their stock. So we left qb, fetched ph and off we went to tesco extra.

1 MYR for 7 minutes......

We went back to college to meet the rest of them before we departed to Batu Lancang Hawker Center for lunch. It was my first visit to this place….. I like the pasembur hehe

After lunch, all of us, 5 cars all together headed to Sean’s villa at batu feringgi. It is a four-storey villa, big and nice =D.

My internet connection died a few days ago. It took 3 days to get everything in order. There goes my day without the Internet. It really annoys me since I have so many things to do within these 2 to 3 days ahead.

How upset would you be if your ISP told you to have no Internet for 3 days?

Woke up early this morning. Went to college to fill in the withdrawal form and bade farewell to my INTI Student ID =(

After that went to GP. OSQ wasn't following, he was in Perak nah taken a lot of photos for you LOL.

Visited the new extension wing. Nothing special la in fact...

Ph and wf bought themselves a 4 GB pendrive. Though it is really cheap but I didn't buy lar......

Had lunch at Taiwan Food, first time stepping into this restaurant.

After lunch, we had.... BIG APPLE Donuts ! haha....

Then, we shopped for 1.5 hours, met HweiKuan and her bodyguards there hehe.

At 3.30pm, we went GSC for Madagascar. It's an interesting and funny movie! haha Love it =)

After movie, we had high tea at Kim Gary......

In the evening, we went to Gurney Drive hawker center for dinner. It has been 5 years if not mistaken.... since I last visited this place.

Went home after that, ph has been our Live GPS, blazing a shortcut path for us which couldn't be done by our GPS LOL. After all, I'd like to thank Adeleen for lompang-ing us hehe.

Fear and Worry

'We pay the price of fear and worry to live the life of a human being. Our susceptibility to anxiety is the root cause of our problems.'

Fear and worry seem to be part and parcel of human life. One who is immersed in the mundane world is not free from these unpleasant mental states.

Why and what do people worry about? Their worries are due to various commitments and responsibilities they have. Their worries come in many various guises. They feel inadequate when they compare themselves with others. 'Maybe I'm not good enough to do that job' or 'I don't think I'm clever enough to make an impact.' They may be afraid to be themselves as they really are in the presence of others, so they end up saying to themselves: 'I can't let people get to know me as I really m. If I do so, they may loss confidence in me or belittle me.' So they act and pretend to be someone else when in fact they are NOT.

People worry a lot about their physical appearances. Men worry when they become bald headed, while women worry when wrinkles start to appear on their faces, or when they are too thin or too fat, too dark or too fair, too tall or too short and so on.

They are afraid of being criticised, attacked by others or censured by their superiors. They are afraid to present their ideas or opinions before a crowd for fear of being ridiculed, but feel angry with themselves whenever someone else presents the same idea and gets credit for it. They feel they are being hampered by criticisms, even when they know that such criticisms are undeserved and unjustified.

In fact, the list of worries people face daily would be endless. Human existence is full of worries and fear which lurk within the dark inner corners of the mind. Man has so many fears - fear arising from insecurity, fear of enemies, fear of hunger, fear of sickness, fear of loss of wealth and possessions, fear of old age, fear of death and even fear of the next existence.

Not only does he worry and fear when things go wrong, he becomes worried even when things go on smoothly! He conjures a vague sense of fear in his mind that suddenly something may go wrong and that the happiness he now enjoys might turn to sorrow. Although some people say, no news means good news, people worry when there is no news. Such unfounded worries fill their life with undue fear. Such form of wretchedness befalls all mankind. And none are free from this except those who are perfect or pure in their minds.....

Being Frustrated In Love

'One should not lower one's dignity or be a nuisance to the other party.'

In this world, it is impossible for all our desires to be satisfied. No matter how powerful or influential a person is, he will still experience frustration. The things he doesn't have, he will long for them. When he already has certain things, he longs for some more or for a change. Unfulfilled desire is common to everyone.

In the matters of the heart, the longing for the love of another always brings frustration. When a person falls in love and finds that his or her feelings are not reciprocated, he or sh becomes frustrated. This often occurs among young people. Even conditions which are clearly favourable can change unexpectedly.

Some people fall in love at first sight and remain happy for the rest of their lives. Some others fall in love at first sight, only to realise that it was infatuation and regret it later. But for the most part, love takes time to grow. Therefore, if love does not blossom immediately, a person should not be disheartened too easily. There is a saying that a faint heart never won a fair lady. This is to say that a person who gives up too easily will not be able to marry the one he desires.

Some can conduct themselves maturely and slowly draw the other's attention to their kindness, consideration, steadfastness, and love for the other. One must not be unreasonable or selfish in the expression of one's feelings. After all, human emotions, like all things in nature, are subject to change. When one conducts oneself well, there is every chance that the other will begin to realise the good qualities and develop warm feelings towards the other and all these may take time.

But there must be a limit in trying to win the heart of another, especially when the answer is a clear 'NO' and the person must not go to extremes in expressing the love. One must give the other the right to make one's own decision and respect that decision. There is no law that one's love for another must be reciprocated. In situations when a person's love is not reciprocated, it is best for either party to wish all the happiness for the future well-being and part as friends without causing any hindrances to their own personality or make a nuisance of themselves.......

Visited my grandparents this morning, it has been seven months since I last visited her 很不孝 hor...... So I accompanied them the whole morning loo....

After that, went to Kenny Rogers QB for lunch; had Haagen-Dazs ice-cream for dessert.

Very boring la, so simply took some photos.... But I still prefer BR ice-cream, sweeter & cheaper it costed two buckets of BR for two plates of HD. but nvm la dad was there, can order whatever i like lol =p

Went to other places after that, lazy to type liao; some of them has just departed for Genting Highlands, but we aren't going ler.... ok la, stop here :)

Sat for MUET this morning. Osq fetched me to and fro from my house to SMK Teluk Kumbar. So I'll be free from exam this month. IELTS test will in December. =D

Had McD again for my lunch....

OK here comes the main point; this afternoon, I updated my hp with the latest firmware. Mana tau my hp went mad after the update, can't even type Chinese! , lost the Wallet personal notes too..... Luckily I have performed a backup on the Contacts, Calendar & etc. before that, or else the results could be disastrous...

The latest firmware wasn't design to support Chinese language, yet the update performed was irreversible... faint. Have been seeking for solutions the whole afternoon, I don't want to waste $ just to install the previous firmware laa.....

Had the last paper - chemistry this morning & .... thats THE END of HSC! =(

After exam, we were forced to attend a talk held by the representative of UniSA. The stupid talk took one hour to finish, we were damn hungry that time... After that OSQ fetched us to QB. Wanted to go GP at first but they have reserved tickets at GSC QB.

And because of that stupid talk, we failed to catch the Quantum of Solace at 2.30pm. So we took our lunch at McD, very rush la, cause we were rushing for the next show at 3pm. Many INTI HSC students were there, watching the same movie haha.

Woke up early this morning, and on the way to college, I was shocked by what I've learnt from the radio broadcast - Abdul Razak Baginda was acquitted of the murder abetment charge in the murder case of Mongolian Altantuya. The judge ruled that the prosecution failed to prove a prima facie case against him....... I shall read tomorrow newspaper for detailed info...

Back to college; I tried to hide myself this morning, but failed la at the end lol and.... SORRY la Miss Adeleen =D. Went to Bali Bali for lunch, though I reside in Sungai Dua, but this is my first visit to Bali Bali haha, I used to go to Pizza Hut or McD lar lol. After lunch, we went for ice-cream at Baskin Robin of course la 31st ma =p

Luckily we went there in the afternoon, or I will hv to squeeze myself into the shop haha
our number - 70, but there is an impatient guy who left his no. , so we took his no. 61 hehe

makan.... we used to have BR ice-cream on the 31st haha, so next stop at BR will be on 31st December lol

After that, momo fetched me home. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my keys... so went back to college again swt.....

At college, Adeleen, ph, judy & I wanted to go QB for second round of BR ice-cream. But Judy & I drew back at the last minute; so left ph n Adeleen Sorry Har.

OK, after fooling around for 2 hours, I attended my last ESL class.

Miss Subarshini - she is an active lecturer, and of course she is humourous. She always makes the class burst into life. We enjoyed the class throughout the year especially at beginning of the year =)

And for ESL today, we have a special Guest (the gal in green t-shirt i've forgotten her name sry, but i know she is peiying's sis) . She talked about herself for a short while, then Subar returned our written work titled Perception of HSC, which was written by each of us on the first day of ESL class. So u can imagine, how time flies!

hmm... 3 ppl were absent today, too bad...

After that, I attended my last chemistry class, which is also my last HSC class!!!

Miss Leela - My chemistry lecturer. She is also the head of HSC. Although she likes to scold us, but we will NEVER forget her. In short, she is an EXCELLENT lecturer.

Thats all for HSC..... :(

After that some of us attended a short briefing held by the IMU representatives. Then me, adeleen, jitpoh, ziyi, sean, judy and derrick went out for lunch at Sg. Ara.

Went back to college, coppied past year answers....and thats the end.

The Last Thrusday

This morning, when I walked into my ESL class, i was shocked by this guy....

haha, Mr. Yap asked: You attending closing ceremony ar?

while some of my friends asked: he attending graduation ceremony ar? lol

After 2 hours of ESL, I attended my last physics class in my life sad... Mr. Yap is indeed a good physics lecturer. I will never forget the way he teach and talk haha.

Today Mr. Goh has cancelled the one hour maths. ext 1 class, so... 3 hours break again!! =D

The Last Friday

Today is the last friday in HSC.... the course will end by next thrusday sobs. How time flies! gonna miss INTI very much......

And I had only 2 hours class today, Mr Goh has cancelled the 2 hours maths extension 1 class, means I was free after 12noon, so me, osq, adeleen, ziyi, jitpoh, sean and judy went to Kenny Rogers for lunch to commermorate this Last Friday nola just joking haha .

Fleeting Happiness

Life is unsatisfactory because it is impermanent. "To exist is to change; to change is to mature; to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly." So, those suffering and despairing ones who seek light and guidance should not base their hopes of happiness on a life whose elements are in a flux as the shifting sands of a river mouth.

When a person has a happy life, he would like the passage of time to stand still. This ceaseless passage of time is so obvious a quality of our live that we take it for granted. Within this ceaseless movement, all things we know are born, grow, decay and die, and we will go through this process with them.

"Life is uncertain, but death is certain."

The law of impermanence lays its cruel hand on all people. And all youth ends in old age, all health in sickness, all strength in impotence, all beauty in ugliness, and all life in death. Nothing can stop this process. Death follows birth, as night follows day.

If we look closely at life, we can see how it is continually changing and moving between contacts. We will notice how it fluctuates between rise and fall, success and failure, gain and loss, honour and contempt, praise and blame. We see more clearly how our hearts would respond to happiness and sorrow, delight and despair, satisfaction and disappointment, hope and fear.

These mighty waves of emotion carry us up, but to no sooner are we up in the crest when, they fling us down. Hardly have we found some rest, before we are swept up again by the power of a new wave. How can we expect to gain a footing on the crest of the waves? Where shall we erect the building of life in the midst of this ever restless ocean of existence, if not on the island of equanimity which will shelter us from every storm? The fact is - This island of equanimity develops in our minds after we have undergone many disappointments, and have finally emerged much wiser. It is an island which provides stability and peace in the face of sickness, separation and death. =)

Today is the 14th day of the 8th lunar month; my classmate and I celebrated the Moon Festival Eve at Mohmoh’s house. Adeleen and I went to QB to buy some necessaries before departing for his HUGE house.

Thanks to Mohmoh’s parents and relatives who have prepared the foods. The foods were so delicious especially the Loh Bak =D OSQ is the one who arrive the second-latest, and the funniest thing is that he has taken his dinner before he came haha.

Bravo! Anwar has finally won the Permatang Pauh parliamentary seat!

Despite the fact that B.N. has been giving numerous ‘betrothal’ presents to the local resident, Anwar managed to win in the Permatang Pauh by-election with a majority of exceeding 10K votes!

This has clearly shown the nation’s distrust towards the current Central Government. Most people demand for an independent judiciary. So, it is the time to CHANGE. :)

I have read a funny article last week, it is written in Chinese:
